Changes

Over the past two years my priorities have definitely changed and although I continue to enjoy my ‘stage’ work I decided to add a slightly different niche to my portfolio. Age seems to have cleared some of the fog in my eclectic and busy brain resulting in some changes to my own life that I have planned and worked towards. People often talk about a ‘career journey’ and when I look back over my working life I can see clear reasons I made the choices I did and developed my current working life into what it is now. IBAK 2019 gave me goosebumps

In the voice of Victor Meldrew, ‘I don’t believe it!’ – I have just had the most cheeky honour bestowed upon me and hosted the eighth Independent Business Awards in Kent, (IBAK). This is an event I created in 2012 under the branding KITA, (Kent Independent Traders Awards) to bring small independent business owners together and to recognise their achievements. The Board of the Appy Party 2019

The Appy Party isn’t a political party, it’s an independent and neutral online platform that can be used to share views and VOTE directly on things that impact you on both a local and national level. As someone who feels disengaged with the current political system the APP appeals to me because I can still have a voice, an opinion that counts without it having to be in line with a current political party and what they are favouring this week. This is one of the reasons I accepted a position on the board so I could become more involved...

The APPY PARTY Launches to Give a Voice to the Nation

THE APPY PARTY LAUNCHES TO GIVE A VOICE TO THE NATION A former Government technology and data advisor is today launching a new, independent online platform with the ambition of giving the nation the opportunity to share their thoughts directly with decision makers. Susannah Schofield OBE, who served on the Business, Innovations and Skills Advisory Panel under the Coalition Government, has created the ‘Appy Party’ in a bid to give a voice to the nation. The time of yah-boo, Punch and Judy politics belongs in the history books. Political participation needs to reflect the evolving world. We can order...
