Hilary Steel, the Presenter who Cooks and the Cook who Presents.
That’s me…a girl who has gone from being a linguist working for large multi-national corporations to a presenter and cook. The stages may be different but there’s always an element of comedy to what I do. Sometimes in the kitchen or on a public stage, things go ‘wrong’ or should I say…not quite to plan. This is when thinking on my feet has come into play on many occasions! Fortunately I haven’t set anything on fire in a cooking kitchen yet but I have turned a flame into a rose on a public speaking stage.
I like a challenge, I like to explore new ideas…try new thing…some less scary than others but most of all I like to sit around a dinner table with great company, great food and a cheeky little vino to compliment the whole setting.
